Large unused goal post laying in yard for over a year.
Tenant, Carolyn, called to say she has complained about vines growing up to her 2nd floor apt. Las month when she went to the office to pay her rent she asked again to cut the vines that are taking over her deck. The office told they would not be cutting the bushes below because there is a nest of snakes. Left msg at landlord office of appt. at 3:00 on 7/2/2010

We are located at 2909 E Buick Cadillac Blvd. - Dr. J. Blue Davis's dental office. The property adjoining ours appears to have been abandoned and we are noticing that the landscape is becoming overgrown with plants, grasses and weeds. Also, the fence is the back of the property is beginning to fall down. Is there anything that the City can do to keep this property from becoming an eyesore for the other businesses on our street.

There is a fence down on the Atwater side of this home. It's a mess in a highly traveled area. Thought I'd send it your way for your staff to address. Oakdale Square has significantly cut back on maintenance activities, including lawncare, although they have continued to raise rates. Current grass height exceeds 8 inches, even 12 inches, in many locations and encumbers quiet enjoyment of lawns and common areas. Leasing office is aware, but they have reduced the frequency of regular lawncare.

Caller complained of an exterior light post adjacent to unit 2349 that has fallen down and still has electrical power to the light.
The mailbox post that is shared between myself and two other household (renting from same person) is so rusted that it no longer seems safe. Should the landlord of the two other homes be notified? Who is in charge of replacing it, and how can this be done? It seems that if the very rusty pole is removed, how will the new one be installed? Further up the street, people installed mailbox posts in large buckets of concrete. Does the city really want this? By the way, the property where the post is installed belongs to my neighbors - whose mailbox is on Guy street. I appreciate your help with this matter. Dana
I need to report a tenant who is living at a storage facility by renting out an office space and is also using it for vehicle storage with multiple trucks being stored out in the driveways. This is causing a concern and an issue. This has been informed to the landlord and still continues.
