Persistent issues with loose trash bags (shown in this photo) from Dec. 9, toppled commercial trash bins, large items left on tree plot (the wood pallet has been leaning on that tree in photo for 4 weeks), and encroachments on sidewalk. Trash and recycle containers left in roadway consistently. Automobile traffic including buses and wrecker services using the road create traffic hazards dodging the containers. Auto traffic is constantly speeding down Monroe St. between 10th and 11th. It is very dangerous for pedestrians and car traffic using Cottage Grove. Trash and Recycle Containers need to be kept off of the roadway and the spilled trash from the downed containers needs to be kept cleaned and properly maintained. The landlord is not offering any assistance in keeping area safe and clean. This has been reported previously and has never been resolved correctly.
