There are homeless encampments steadily increasing in number behind my house and those of my neighbors. There are now several in view of my windows. The amount of trash is staggering, including countless hypodermic needles. Trash is regularly set on fire by the residents of the encampments, producing noxious smoke that smells terrible and is surely not safe to breathe. The city needs to do something about these encampments. Open air drug use within feet of neighborhoods with young children should not be tolerated. I've been a resident of Bloomington for a decade and I'm strongly considering moving out of town due to the city's inability to address this issue. Please do something.

I’ve noticed non native plant species on this City parcel and would like to know since we have been working on similar plant removal and treatment along the B Line who might be be ones to inquire of addressing the bush honeysuckle, wintercreeper et al on this triangler parcel just a few parcels from the back parking of Opportunity House. Homeless camp trash in a large area. Will the City have the owner clean it up

Occupants have been erecting numerous structures made of pallets, wood, and tarps throughout their property for several weeks. The backyard seems completely full of these shanties. Their "construction" continues throughout much of the evening many days of the week, often extending to 10:00pm or later. The banging and power tool noise is a nuisance and the many structures they are creating seem very unsafe, especially for the children that are seen/heard playing there.
