trash overflowing containers, city will not pick up, spilling into neighborhood
Trash build up. Sticks. Is a health issue.
Leroy (812) 679-7403 rents at 120 W Pinewood Dr. and concerned about excessive growth near the corner causing safety hazard for kids in the neighborhood with the amount of traffic. He said that the owner refuses to mow and he does what he can to maintain the area. Called 1-2 days ago to file complaint but unable to provide property address. tlr
Trash overflowing causing it to not be picked up by city for weeks.
Yard has not been mowed this season.
I have no idea how to fit this problem into the city's framework, so am putting it here. The garage you see is owned 1/2 by me and 1/2 by the neighbor (a corporation who is supposed to rent to 3 adults. the driveway is shared. As you can see, a car is parked blocking my access to my garage. The person I spoke to next door doesn't know who the car belongs to, he is a visitor. This happens all the time. There are also 2 cars parked on the other side of the house. I have talked to HAND about how to find the property line and info about getting the garage demolished. The info was woefully incomplete. I am extremely frustrated that I cannot get help from the city, who seems focused only on increasing density. I hope you're happy.
Calling about recent case (see below). Problem persists. #188267 Excessive Growth Case Date: 5/5/2024 The owner of (corner house) 1706 E Second Street only mows half his lawn. The half that borders 607 S Eastside Drive has not been kept up. If he keeps doing this, the grass will be knee high by August.
tree over hangs sidewalk, has poison ivy may be a case for encroachment into right of way (Engineering or Planning)
A cooler full of trash and stagnant water has been sitting in front of this house for several months now. It’s mosquito breeding time… I think this is a rental property.
