Trash around house, yard has multiple dead trees (in danger of falling into neighbor's yard), cars that do not run with missing windows (danger to children), trashy yard with run down buildings (bad for property values) and hole in road (presumably extends to property) that could be a sink hole.
This report is in reference to serious overgrowth on a City right-of-way on the corner of N. Oolitic St. and W. 11th St. The property that this right-of-way is connected to is 1508 W. 11th St. The owner of this property is/was Joseph E. Day. However, he is recently deceased. At this time, the property is in the process of repossession by BB&T Bank. I know that in usual circumstances, Joe may have been responsible for the care of this area. However as I stated, he is now deceased. I have been trying to contact BB&T Bank - I actually may have an interest in purchase of the property since I own the vacant adjoining lots - but have gotten absolutely no response. In the mean time, the overgrowth on the City right-of-way that is on the west edge of his property is growing out into Oolitic St, has grown to the point of obscuring the speed limit sign, and is covering a fire hydrant. I am hoping that, given the circumstances, the City could come and mow/cut/clear that area. The main backyard is inside a fence, but this small section along Oolitic St has been left outside the fence. Thank you, Anthony Eller
Grass is overgrown. Overgrowth covers speed limit sign on west side of property and is growing out into the street.
Someone has dumped an old tire on my property. It is at the corner of W.11th and N. Oolitic Dr. Thank you.
There are several bags of trash in the 1500 block of North Woodburn that are not tagged and have been sitting there for a couple of days. The citizen is concerned that animals will get into the bags.
1506 W. 11th St. Trash and debris around property.
Owner of property 525 E Southern called to say the property next to her is abandoned and has rats going in and out of it.
