I am not sure where to send this to but hoping you can share these remarks with the Historic Preservation Commission: I see that the players Pub is up for the HPC to decide if it should be taken down. I think it should. The place is about to fall in and is a eyesore to everyone in that area. I see that Derek Richey posted that he is wanting to keep because he does not want more Apt built in Bloomington? what is his job? seems like he has crossed the line and is trying to act as a city planning and not the HPC. He is trying to get all his friends to send in that is should stay so someone will not build new. That is not his job. He should not be able to post like this. Derek has crossed the line. I think it should come down and whatever goes in can only help the area out. Never heard of Boxman and I have been around my whole life. Tear it down.
Trash left out over night and on days after trash picked up. Bags on side of house. 2nd complaint from different citizen, echoed same concerns as the first.
Trash cans have been left out and now there is garbage scattered around
Dumpster overflow, trash scattered in yard, blowing over into neighbors' yards. Created a rat problem. Happens continuously, every week.
https://bloomington.in.gov/crm/tickets/view?ticket_id=173664 I'm checking in on this case because the broken furniture is still on the side of this house.i know you have followed up several times with this house and I very much appreciate your efforts. It just seems that this landlord/tenant is not responding.
House at 1615 S. Walnut St. has had trash on the street continuously since last Sunday. Bicycle parts are now being piled in the neighbor's yard interfering with a political yard sign.
Homeowner at 2232 S Olde Mill Court leaves his garbage cans at the street for many days after the Thursday morning pickup. This picture was taken Saturday afternoon after Thursday pick up. This happens weekly. He then stores the cans outside in front of the house.
There is still trash all over the street and frontage of 223 N Morton St. Residents of the building continually throw trash (beer cans/bottles, liquor bottles and fast food containers) along the sidewalk and on top of the red canopy over the big rack in front of unit 208. There are cans and bottles on top of the structure that blow off onto cars and into the street causing a hazard to pedestrians and motorists. There are smashed bottles/ broken glass all near the alleyway. This is unacceptable and must be dealt with. The city has been notified multiple times.
Caller said trash is all around the house, on every side. They have mattresses in the yard.
