Hello, I am currently trying to sell my house at 1221 W. 6th Street. Potential buyer feedback has been overwhelmingly positive however several people have decided not to buy my house because of the condition of the neighboring property to the east. That particular house is abandoned and derelict. Are you able to take any action that would remedy this plight or if this is simply a civil matter please let me know what steps I should take to address the problem myself. I am curious if Bloomington has a service where I can report a rental company that does not act in accordance with state laws (no notice for rental showings) and public health regulations (my septic tank leaks into my back yard and they won't fix it). Is there a city service that can help me with these issues?
