Low water pressure and discoloration
Low water pressure and discoloration
A resident called and complained of trees needing to be cut down and general issues seeing stop/street signs in the area. I believe the area that he is describing is the three-way stop at the back entrance to the CVS parking lot. Trees have apparently become overgrown, making the signs difficult to see.
Unfortunately, after I sent you the first email this morning I found out we have yet a third Watermain break in our neighborhood located at 2699 South McCartney Ln. in Hyde Park Village. I really need to speak to someone regarding the plan for our neighborhood. I am the president of the HOA of Hyde Park Village. My phone number is listed above as well as my email address. Thank you.
The water hydrant at 2697 E. Rock Creek Drive is dripping water. The home owner reported that someone in a white van with a yellow vest opened it today, but that it is still dripping water.
We have no water. I know the city has been working on a break. The water advisory for our area has been lifted. Yet, we still have no water.
My neighbor just waterproofed house, Dug a trench around the house. Did he need a Permit?
Residents have a black Ford Explorer in front yard for sale.
Two signs in front of Red Lobster e3rd and the Bypass. College painters and “We buy Homes” signs.
We recently had a tree removed from the spot shown, as well as having a tree trimmed on the other side of our driveway. The tree that was removed was rotted out as it was deemed unsafe. We moved to this location in 2019 with a new baby on the way. Fast forward 2 years and just after the tree was removed by the City of Bloomington, our now 2 y/o plays in front of our house and has now fallen multiple times because of the drop off on the sidewalk due to the tree roots that have lifted the sidewalk. Additionally, small animals have now made this area their home. This is the same problem on the opposite side of our driveway by the electrical boxes due to overgrown root systems of trees that were frankly too large to plant in there specific spots. The lift in the sidewalk from the tree roots has caused a major trip/fall hazards that are at least a 6in drop. Please advise.
There are no sewer drains for rain water. It all pools around my yard every time it rains. The road is worn down from trucks so the water just stays there for days eating away at my yard. I even see there's a line item on my water bill where I pay for run off water...why am I paying for it to just flood my yard? I've written about this once before because I also think a curb around my property would also help the problem.
