Vegetation blocks sidewalk
Vegetation blocks sidewalk
The vegetation obstructing the sidewalk on the Maxwell side of the house has been successfully cut down. But the groundcover still occupies about a third of the width of the sidewalk. Please ask the homeowner to edge or pull up the weeds so that we can use the full width of the sidewalk on Maxwell.
There are two bushes along N Woodlawn Ave (but one in particular that I am singling out in this complaint) that is growing over onto the sidewalk. It takes up about half the sidewalk and requires people to step onto the road verge when passing another person.
800 Block of W. 2nd St(2nd and Euclid):from Euclid turning on to 2nd, it is difficult to see looking East to turn out on 2nd due to plants. 900 Block of W. 3rd St: Sidewalk blocked by plants on the North side of the street. 700 Block of W. Smith: Impassable due to overgrown plants and trees.
NW corner of W 2nd St/ S Euclid Ave LOS blocked by homeowners flowers between sidewalk and road.
Safety issue/Excessive growth at 820 w. 2nd street, unable to see on coming traffic west bound... trying to pull out off Euclid on to 2nd street, sidewalk also has excessive growth
The overgrowth between the sidewalk and street on the NE corner of 2nd and Euclid blocks all the views of westbound traffic, creating a significant hazard. This occurs every year. The residents are apparently cultivating it. That overgrowth needs to be removed permanently.
The street view is fully obstructed by weeds at the intersection of Euclid and 2nd street. When going South on Euclid and attempting to make a left hand turn (east) on 2nd, you cannot see oncoming traffic to your left due to vegetation between the sidewalk and the road. I have almost gotten in an accident twice at this intersection due to pulling out and jot seeing an oncoming car which was blocked by the weeds. This is especially a problem for cars versus trucks due to the height.
