There are tall orange cones in front of 521 W. Kirkwood & pink paint marking the lawn & sidewalk. Same set-up across the street. If the city is planning to dig up something--pipes, et, will this affect where the BL Transit can pickup & drop passengers? I catch the bus in front of 521 to go to work. Thanks.
Hello, I am wondering if there are plans to finish the bikepath from Henderson along Winslow all the way up to Highland and the Winslow Sports complex. I live in Sherwood Oaks, and this would make biking to work on campus and biking downtown much safer for me. It would be great if someone from the city could reach out to Sherwood Oaks Neighborhood and let us know up sidewalk and bikepath plans along winslow, henderson and rhorer. I would also like to see a sidewalk all the way from Henderson to Jackson Creek Middle along Rhorer.
Hello, I live on Euclid Ave and have to make frequent turns onto W 2nd St. On the corner of these streets, across from the church there are overgrown plants/weeds beyond the sidewalk. It's impossible to see any cars coming from the left while on Euclid Ave. The hill makes it difficult but the plants take any vision left. I've accidentally almost involved myself in accidents due to this. I and I'm sure others would appreciate the obstruction be removed if at all possible.
As a long-time rental tenant at 612 N. Lincoln St., I and the neighbor with whom I share this property have been cited at least twice in the past for garbage/public cleanliness violations. Having come home last night from a weekend out of town, I was shocked to see two enormous bags of trash from my neighbors at 610 N. Lincoln St. strewn across the sidewalk in front of my house and down the alley in between our houses. Upon returning home from a long day of work just a moment ago, I have to express my disgust that nothing's been done about it. For a department that is apparently very diligent, it surprises me that this would go unnoticed and uncited. Please send someone to investigate my complaint and cite them, as you have me. Trash left sitting out on curb at all times in the 500 block of S Highland Ave (between Hunter Ave and 2nd St on the east side of the street). Trash becomes scattered on the sidewalk. Attracting unwanted wildlife (raccoons, possums, skunks) in the area and is unpleasant to neighbors.
