Northeast corner of Washington and Grimes. This tall grass makes it very difficult to see traffic coming south on Washington, pedestrians, cyclists. The grass is 6 or 8 ft tall and very wide. It needs to be trimmed and removed.
Both Hillside drive and High Street are heavily used. Hillside is a major east west thoroughfare and High street is a commonly used to go north to south and skip utilizing college mall and south Sare Roads. Moores pike / Hillside Drive and West Country Club / East winslow drive / East Rogers Road all deserve added lanes of travel. Going east to west in this city is painfully slow which causes a lot of dangerous driving situations. The roads are way to narrow as it is and distracted (or mechanical issues / health issues / Construction / etc) oncoming drivers leave very little room to avoid a head on collision.
The installation of two islands in the left turn lane is a big mistake. This creates the potential for a huge backup of traffic headed north on Kinser. The solution is to remove the islands and allow for a left turn lane for cars wanting to turn onto Parrish Ave. and shop at Kroger.
I cannot fathom why, every year, Bloomington literally decides to wait until the very first day of school to start a construction project on any main road leading to a school. Does that sound smart to you?? To ensure that all major roads leading to schools are down to one lane on the first day, almost certainly causing not only students to run late but parents late to work and likely more accidents??? Does that sound smart to yall?? It must because we’ve got construction on 10/bipass, bethel, and N walnut. Do. Better.
When driving north on Harold St to 10th street there is a large shrub, on private property at 404 10th St , that blocks the view for the turn onto 10th. My family has now had several close traffic wrecks at that intersection. Can that shrub be cut back or removed by either owner or city? Thanks
Euclid / Second north side right of way next to sidewalk w 3-4 foot tall plants that make impossible AND dangerous to attempt left turn left heading east on to 2nd St. Please cut down this hazard before someone gets injured or killed. It’s challenging enough

One of the new street trees planted by the city after the completion of the new north extension of the Jackson Creek Trail last fall has unfortunately died, and should be replaced. It is sending up suckers at the base, but I don’t think a large shrubby plant is what was intended. Tree is near the property line of the house on High and the house on the corner facing Wimbleton. There are trees hanging into the road between 3214 and 3230 E Moore’s Pike causing for low to no visibility when leaving the driveway. This has caused for several close calls with having accidents
