The overhang to Bubs burgers is far too low. As a tall person, I have to go around it and step into the road. Why are sidewalks discriminating against tall individuals? I pay taxes to maintain this area and deserve to be able to walk freely on that side of the street. -Randy
Mike Frey - 317-727-3371 Mike is the owner of Bub's on the corner of 9th Street and N. Morton. The last parking spot on 9th street before you hit Morton has been turned in to a handicap space. According to Mike this space is on a hefty incline that was once riddles with pot holes. He stated that it is smooth, but that it is not an accessible space by any means being on a hill. He would like someone to reach out to him. Thank you!
Basketball hoop with pole on the shoulder knocked over very close to being over the white line off the highway. Blocks the shoulder and causes safety concern.
Traffic is horrible on W. Third and W. Second going west to east. We have to go thru parking lots to get anywhere. Or, go all the way to 46. Lanes are closed off and no one is working.
The bushes at the pinned location create an obstructed view and dangerous situation for those coming out of the lot
The prior uReport was finalized by saying the issue was mitigated. I walked by this morning and it hasn't been mitigated. The missing sidewalk is on the west side of Sare Rd about 200 yards south of Moore's. It's across the street from the Verona Coffee shop. Here's the prior uReport from 2020: https://na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fbloomington.in.gov%2Fcrm%2Ftickets%2Fview%3Fticket_id%3D173087&data=05%7C01%7C%7C96686622ce2641ad333a08db9e6eaddb%7C84df9e7fe9f640afb435aaaaaaaaaaaa%7C1%7C0%7C638277970417164676%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000%7C%7C%7C&sdata=KqGpEZxMRKpA1%2B1nF7GBbFKnVLL8kHbHvU%2BBswotpI4%3D&reserved=0 Closed by Driss Tahir Staff investigated this report and issue has been mitigated Thanks for looking into this again. Made a left onto Lincoln from 4th toward Kirkwood 3-13-25 , probably about 12:15. Yellow paint spill from 4th to Kirkwood. Didn’t think a Lot about it. Thought it was dried. Looked like paint for lining the roads. Stopped at the grocery. Raised yellow paint on my tires, wheel wells and some on the bottom of the car.
This construction thing I believe to hold a sign is blocking the sidewalk by the handicap space.
Large shrub (bush honeysuckle?) at NE corner of lot has grown so much that it is now difficult to pass using the sidewalk on Cottage Grove. The property owner/manager (sign in yard says "Thatcher Real Estate") never shovels the sidewalk in the winter, but maybe the snow/ice complaints submitted to HAND earlier this year never made it to them. Probably good to be more proactive about this report, since the shrub is not going to just melt on its own like the snows did...
