There is a round about on Summit Street and Cottage Grove. The roundabout is completely overgrown and is also covering up the drainage system. It's so high that when kids are riding their bikes and cars are coming around the corner, they almost get hit. It needs to be cut.
sewer pipe has pvc pipe drilled right thru it. First thought it was comcast, they investigated and found Hoosier Fiber networks laid the PVC. My sewer line keeps backing up and the camera exposed the issue. I need assistance getting this resolved!
Mike Frey - 317-727-3371 Mike is the owner of Bub's on the corner of 9th Street and N. Morton. The last parking spot on 9th street before you hit Morton has been turned in to a handicap space. According to Mike this space is on a hefty incline that was once riddles with pot holes. He stated that it is smooth, but that it is not an accessible space by any means being on a hill. He would like someone to reach out to him. Thank you!
In 2019/2020, the Rogers Multiuse Path Project removed a large area of mature evergreen trees and shrubs. Before the project began, the city convened a public meeting at Sherwood Oaks church, where this project was presented. Neighborhood residents were under the impression (from what was stated at the meeting) that despite the construction and removal of mature trees and shrubs there was a plan to replace the mature trees and provide appropriate barriers to shield adjacent residences from Rogers Rd. Given that one of the adjacent neighborhoods is named “The Woodlands” it is ironic that the large swath of mature trees and shrubs was removed by the city. In 2020, the neighborhood inquired about the promised tree replacement plan and advocated in support of the tree replacement plan via email exchanges with a city employee. This link to Google Street view shows some of the mature trees, shrubs, and vegetation that existed before removal. https://www.google.com/maps/place/Rogers+Rd+%26+Winding+Brook+Circle/@39.1360284,-86.5043552,3a,75y,11.81h,104.02t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1sM5SSfiHav1RemgRHxy-NNQ!2e0!6shttps:%2F%2Fstreetviewpixels-pa.googleapis.com%2Fv1%2Fthumbnail%3Fcb_client%3Dmaps_sv.tactile%26w%3D900%26h%3D600%26pitch%3D-14.024763466822193%26panoid%3DM5SSfiHav1RemgRHxy-NNQ%26yaw%3D11.809023229470313!7i16384!8i8192!4m7!3m6!1s0x886c66797856700f:0x281f08677540884f!4b1!8m2!3d39.136063!4d-86.504227!16s%2Fg%2F1ymsmq0qb?entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI1MDQyMy4wIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D The neighbors request that you please consider restoration of trees, shrubs, and vegetation.
There are 4 planters on this street that have overgrown bushes that need trimmed and maintained.
Poison ivy growing next to sidewalk and school bus stop.
Fiber project cap missing and wire no longer buried. There's at least one other incident of visible wire a couple houses east in the ditch.
The area on the north side of Sudbury Drive, between the last Millenium driveway and Arbor Ridge Way is not being maintained, mowed, etc. by the Millemium Apartment Management. I complained to Kenny Liford in the summer of 2024. He told me he gave them a warning and that they would be fined if they did not comply. To date, they have never mowed that area since that complaint. They used to maintain it until the past 2-3 years. According to the INDOT, this area is within the city limits. The area not being maintained is along the tree conservancy, which is owned by Millenium but governed by the city.
Front yard is all dug up - does not look like utilities were marked. Is a permit needed to do this? If so, was one issued?
