The Bloomington Bagel Company at 113 N. Dunn Street recently installed giant umbrellas on their outdoor patio tables. As a result, the tables and chairs are extending into the pedestrian right of way on the sidewalk. The umbrellas are also not tall enough to safely walk under. It appears to be presenting several hazards and blocking safe access for pedestrians and individuals who use wheelchairs.
It’s my understanding that the alley from Jackson to Rogers between 3rd and 4th has not been vacated. Yet the neighbors have planted it and parked vehicles there so pedestrians can’t use it. I think the alley should be useable as an alley or if that is not possible, the adjacent property owners should pay taxes on it. Thanks.
Street light to cross Moore’s Pike at Clarizz is missing. But many drivers ignored the yellow flashing light and accelerated through the light. I think a regular stop light would be more effective.
Abandoned car blocking westbound lane of W Leonard Springs Rd, near intersection with Fullerton.
Approaching the Winslow/ Rogers/ High street roundabout from the south, there is no signage to indicate the names of the roads. Please label each of the exits from the circle, and, if you're feeling fancy, give drivers an indication of what can be found at each exit point. Minimum: *arrow that says High street *arrow that says Rogers *arrow that saws Winslow Plus, if you're feeling helpful Signs that point to common destinations *IU *I-69 *College Mall & Lake Monroe Causeway & Brown county Thanks!
Fritz Lay truck completely blocking 7 Line bicycle corridor at ~12:20pm on 11/5/22. Just west of College and 7th.
The equipment for the cable installation is parked so that the line of sight is blocked. When school starts this will create a very dangerous traffic situation. As it is, it is impossible to pull out of the court safely. Many cars use the court as a turn around.
Blocked Street requests go to Paul Kehrberg, and nothing seems to happen after that. There is a considerable back log here: https://bloomington.in.gov/crm/tickets?query=;enteredDate%5Bstart%5D=;enteredDate%5Bend%5D=;fields%5BenteredDate%5D=on;fields%5Bcategory_id%5D=on;fields%5Bdepartment_id%5D=on;fields%5Bstatus%5D=on;fields%5Blocation%5D=on;fields%5Bdescription%5D=on;category_id=17
