Topic: West 16th, Hancock Dr., and West 15th section through/beside Crestmont Park. This is a beautiful, and I believe under-appreciated stretch of street. Quiet, park setting with trees. However, there is one problem - the road is extremely narrow. Too narrow. If a car is coming one way and encounters a car coming the other way, one has to stop and pull half-way off the road for the other to get by. This is particularly problematic because the blacktop drops off several inches right at the edge and the soil at the edge is often washed out in certain areas. Another issue is that some drivers drive entirely too fast through here and then cut the corner at the bottom of the hill too tightly - this has practically run me off the road in the past. I don't wish to suggest that this section of street be widened. That would ruin its park-like atmosphere. What I would like to suggest is this: Starting at Lindbergh, W. 15th, Hancock, and W. 16th up to Monroe St be made one-way westbound. Then, the section of Lindbergh between W. 15th and W. 17th be switched to one-way northbound once 17th is reopened. I don't think that much traffic normally comes up Lindbergh where it would create that much more traffic on W.16th, etc. Perhaps put down counters to check, but it would cut out the traffic from one way and make the road more safe. Even if none of this is pursued, one thing that is definitely needed are "SLOW" signs and "PARK" signs. There may be a sign marking that there is a ninety-degree curve does in the bottom, but if not, there needs to be one of those too. Thank you for taking the time to read this. If you're going to eliminate the left turn lanes on the westbound entrance to the Winslow/Walnut and eastbound entrance to the Winslow intersection until DECEMBER, then turn off the left turn green light! Just keep it red until the solid green turns on. Right now it's pointless. If the first car is going straight, then nobody can turn left anyway and those that want to turn left get angry that nobody is turning left! Additionally, I've seen people just start going straight when that left arrow turns on since it's a "green light" in their lane. So, you're just making it more confusing and difficult by keeping the left turn light as an option. Finally, it would have been great if you could have waited until Gordon Pike was open before putting another traffic impediment in on the south side. The traffic backups are terrible during peak hours.

With the prolonged closure of W17th St, is it possible to change the pavement markings on Crescent Rd at it's intersection with Fountain Dr? Eliminating the left turn lane on Crescent Rd, leaving just a single lane on Crescent Rd would greatly improve the turning radius from Fountain Dr onto Crescent Rd. With the construction of I69 there is very minimal traffic turning right from Crescent Rd to Fountain Dr, not enough to justify a dedicated lane. Thanks!

During construction, there is not a safe way for pedestrians, joggers, wheelchairs, baby strollers and other non-vehicle movement through this blind road. Recommend routing traffic or reducing speeds to allow for people to safely get through this tight spot.

Intersection at Chambers Drive and South Rogers is often blocked for vehicles entering or exiting Chambers Drive. Please paint large X or similar pattern on pavement to keep this 3 way intersection clear.

I have spoken with Public Works and Planning & Transportation previously but i would like to put it out there again since there has been a lot more progress on Union at Crescent. I would like to put in a request that N.Oolitic Dr from the rear exit of Union at Crescent to W.11th St be rebuilt with widening and curb/sidewalk combos to full ROW width. In addition, i still request that the intersection at N.Oolitic and W.11th be turned into a 3-way stop (signs, not lights.) I truly appreciate serious consideration of these matters and I will work with the city in any way I can, within reason, with my adjacent property. Thank you.

I don't think 10th really needs expanded but if you do that recommendation make sure a signal goes in at 10th and Smith. It's already dangerous there turning left from Smith. Right turners squeeze by and obstruct view. Left turn protections and flow needs improved both at 10th and Smith and Third and Smith

We just need to slow down the traffic into The Stands going towards the park. Can we get one of the speed measuring signs to let people know how fast they are actually going?

Very concerned about traffic along Rogers between the two roundabouts (High St and Sare Rd). Is often bumper-to-bumper around 5p and worried about kids/older people walking, especially coming out of The Stands or the Sherwood Oaks Church. Would traffic-calming devices be considered here? Or, minimally, signs to slow down traffic?

The intersection of 11 and Forrest currently is a three way stop. I would prefer if this was a 4 way stop. I frequently travel between the buildings on the NE and the SW corners. It would also be helpful to have stop-lines/cross walk lines once construction is finished in the SE block.
