Sidewalk unusable, has been for years depending on season. Either it's mud covered areas or vegetation that blocks the ability to use. One more option exists and its when both happen at once. However, thank you for mowing, makes that corner usable.
Honeysuckle encroaching on boardwalk on north side of East Second, just east of Rose. Also something that might be poison ivy.
1. one-way sign on SW corner is obstructed by pole-saw someone turn right off Atwater yesterday. 2. Can walk symbol flash across Atwater (south side) regardless of if someone hits the button? It's same pedestrians as Indiana/3rd intersection, and that one always shows "walk." Feels safer if they had the same behavior! Thanks :)
The corner of Moores Pike and Claris currently has flashing Yellow lights to help pedestrians cross Moores Pike. Drivers view yellow lights as a call to speed up not Stop. I walk there frequently but cars seldom slow or stop Sometimes the cars speed up, either to beat the light or to run over me. Perhaps it would help to change the lights to red which means Stop. Or install a regular stop light. Also, at the Southeast corner of Hillside Dr and College Mall Rd. The crossing light turns on when the vehicles turn right from Sare Rd onto Hillside Dr. This is very dangerous for the pedestrian since the corner is not visible to the cars turning right. S Clarizz and E 3rd apartment complex in southeast quadrant, trees overgrowing into multiuse path on s clarizz
There are shrubs/trees sticking out and hanging low over the sidewalk at the south edge of the new Switchyard Apartments. Additionally, the sidewalk is overgrown with dirt, sand, and grass such that it is inaccessible by wheelchair and possibly for those with other mobility devices. This is of great concern because there is a tenant moving in the apartments soon who uses a wheelchair and will be needing to access the sidewalk to travel to Bloomington Transit bus stops on South Rogers and intersection for safe crossing. Thank for taking care of this for her and other pedestrians who are inconvenienced by these obstructions.
Sidewalk here at the NE corner of High & Winslow is overgrown again, making access to the Jackson Creek Trail difficult for families with strollers, kids on bikes, etc. This has been an ongoing issue for several summers now. Can you please find a permanent resoution to keep this pathway clear and accessible?
