Cases #193296 (6 September) and #193766 (11 October) pertain to the same property/issus. Both are closed and marked "resolved", though issue remains. Invasives have grown over the retaining wall and are blocking the sidewalk. The steps lead to what appears to be a vacant lot, though there is a building at the far north end of this property. As per Elevate, owner is: The Teague Trust 2106 Casa Mia Dr San Jose, Ca 95124 If Bloomington would pass an ordinance restricting property ownership to local residents, and even better to require that property owners actually live in the buildings they own, most of the problems like this would go away.

Ornamental grass from residence obstructing stop sign at 1st and Mitchell. Cross traffic from 1st does not have a stop sign making the intersection very dangerous if obstructed sign is not observed.

I am away on business and person watching my house reported that my front yard was dug up by the nuisance folks doing some kind of work in Ron Heifhts. Will the city be reseeding and fixing this area of grass between sidewalk and curb? No one contacted me whatsoever about this work or that they would be digging up my yard. These road work signs have been here for many weeks and they create a very dangerous situation for people turning from Rock Creek north onto High Street, especially during the hours when Childs school pickup and drop off is happening. You cannot see the oncoming traffic!

AEG was working again in our tree plot yesterday. The storm drain just west of our house, at the alley, is caked with mud and trash. This is the third time they have dug in this plot and the third time they have left a mess. We aren’t cleaning it up this time.

I work in the office at mccsc transportation. Bus drivers are asking if trees/bushes can be trimmed at the railroad tracks just past W 10th St on N Adams St to help with their visibility. They're not able to see clearly when stopping there. Thank you for your help.

I use this route to take my children to school every single day of the week. I have noticed that if a vehicle is turning left from either direction off of E 10th Street they usually have to wait for oncoming traffic that is going straight through the light. This backup undoubtedly causes panic and frustration in drivers trying to make it to work or school in time because the line can be quite long. The solution for most drivers that I've noticed is to go straight through the light utilizing the Right Only turn lane. It doesn't take a genius to realize what can happen when someone unexpectedly blows through an intersection. The other issue is if the car turns left then you have 2 cars simultaneously going straight through an area that is meant to be one car. Today alone I watched 4 cars use the right lane one after another and almost cause a multi-car crash. This is especially dangerous because this area has a high volume of pedestrians feet away who are trying to make it to classes at IU. I have personally witnessed and almost been part of more accidents going in both directions at this intersection than anywhere in my entire life. I would like to offer some solutions rather than just complain. 1. Have a designated left turn lane instead of a right turn that people will inevitably blow through. 2. Add a left turn signal so one car don't hold up all of the traffic on that entire road causing people to get upset. 3. If you don't want to do either of those then at least install a sign that states the right turn lane is ONLY for right turns because people obviously don't understand what an arrow on the ground means. 4. Post a police officer here for about a week and I bet you'll see some changes. He is going to be busy though with all of the traffic violations witnessed. I would generally not even give this a second thought, but I travel this road everyday with my children to and from school. It is actually mind blowing how many close call accidents I have witnessed at this exact spot. Please look into this matter for the safety and well-being of your community. At Thornton Dr. and Henderson St. there is a line of sight issue looking south down Henderson while on Thornton. The stop sign on Thorton is back from the intersection and a driver cannot see users of the multi-use trail or traffic coming from the south on Henderson without pulling forward to the point of the vehicle being into the crossing for the multi-use path on Thornton. This has been a problem for a while. Today, I was stopped at the stop sign and about to slowly move forward to the point where I could see traffic when a bicycle heading north on the multi-use path coming down the hill from Miller along Henderson at a decent speed went flying by in front of my car without regard to the cross traffic pulling out. I'm not sure who would end up at fault when a cyclist goes over the hood of a car there in such a scenario but it seems better if the City can address the problem immediately instead of wait for someone to get hurt. I have seen similar issues with scooters coming down the hill there.

The fiber optic company is at it again. I was In Indy all day and come to a blocked street with the fiber optic company striking a water main in the middle of Fess Avenue. Not only did they dig up my yard without notification and it still remains dirt covered WITH NO grass seed, I came home tonight after being in Indy ALL day to finding my driveway inaccessible with 4-5 city trucks, trailers and workers fixing a WATER MAIN break caused by the gigabit folks trying to install fiber optic UNDER the street and hitting a water main line. Who in the city hired and who manages these people??!! Enough is enough!
