We have 3 properties 1601 S Walnut, 1705 S Walnut, and 1701 S Walnut have all had recurring drainage and piping issues ever since AEG drilled into the street not too long ago. I would like to know if there is someone I can speak too over the phone regarding these issues, we are constantly getting tenant complaints even after we address these issues which makes me, and others, believe there is a larger issue going on. Please direct me in the best way to get this resolved ASAP.

My neighborhood located between Sherwood Oaks church and Jackson Creek middle school is currently undergoing placement of fiberoptic cables. I strongly prefer to not have this done in my yard. My neighbors seem to feel the same. It's already been done recently with Smithville (last year). They nearly hit a gas line in my neighbor's yard two houses over in our cul de sac. They did hit a water line in the yard across the street from us in the cul de sac. They seem to dig without much regard for our approval and preferences as homeowners. Reported by Joanne Freeman to me. Unfinished AT&T fiber project started last summer has left exposed conduit, foot-deep holes and sand fill in rights of way (meaning grass doesn't grow). She wants City inspectors to contact Michael or Sharon Dalton who are the property managers for the subdivision to get this situation addressed. AT&T has been unresponsive to neighborhood contact. As you may know, the cable installers are back at work in the Winslow Farms neighborhood (after leaving it uncompleted for well over a year), and they are inflicting significant damage on properties. We came home to find piles of dirt and rock, a new ground box not flush with the ground, and significant damage far up into our lawn from their boring machine--way beyond the utility easement. Further, their work is damaging sidewalks-both cracking the concrete and pushing it up to create tripping hazards. They were rude to our neighbor who confronted them about these issues. Further, they indicated that they were going to trench back between the houses on Azalea, across the conservancy area, to Bayberry. I would like to talk with someone from the city about this excessive damage, how far back onto our property they are allowed to bring their construction equipment before it becomes trespassing, what is an acceptable expectation/timeline for repairs to our lawn, and what sort of plans they may have for trenching back between our houses and across a conservancy area. They posted announcements of their work AFTER they began and a neighbor complained. Please contact me when you can to discuss the ongoing damage this company is doing to our properties and neighborhood.

The cover of one of the new boxes in the ground for the fiber optic cable is off. This makes a deep hole about 1.5 x 3 feet that a small child or dog could step into.

Gas? Workers dug up multiple parts of my lawn and driveway. This was two weeks ago. They said they were going to come back and fix everything but obviously that hasn’t happened. In the dirt is ground pieces of the old driveway including baseball sized chunks. We are also selling the house so this is hiring our home value - no one wants to buy a house with a broken chunk of driveway.

The construction of under ground cable in our neighborhood is a disaster. It has been going on for months & the second gas leak on Thursday was not handled by the crew very well at all. The smell was terrible, the danger worse & no evacuation order was communicated. Our yards are a mess & cables have been sticking up in our yards since January with it seems no purpose. AEG & AT &T need to repair & leave our neighborhood.
