In 2019/2020, the Rogers Multiuse Path Project removed a large area of mature evergreen trees and shrubs. Before the project began, the city convened a public meeting at Sherwood Oaks church, where this project was presented. Neighborhood residents were under the impression (from what was stated at the meeting) that despite the construction and removal of mature trees and shrubs there was a plan to replace the mature trees and provide appropriate barriers to shield adjacent residences from Rogers Rd. Given that one of the adjacent neighborhoods is named “The Woodlands” it is ironic that the large swath of mature trees and shrubs was removed by the city. In 2020, the neighborhood inquired about the promised tree replacement plan and advocated in support of the tree replacement plan via email exchanges with a city employee.
This link to Google Street view shows some of the mature trees, shrubs, and vegetation that existed before removal.

Please hold the owners of the commercial building for sale on the b-line by the pickle ball
courts accountable for their property. There is trash and overgrowth everywhere! This is a huge eyesore for a otherwise nice area that tax payers spent a lot of money on and to maintain!

On the north side of the newly-paved 7th Street, between Dunn and College Avenues, there are numerous locations where sewer and water drain covers are sinking into the ground...it is excessively bumpy, hazardous and only going to get worse unless addressed immediately.

The white poles on Thurs street need to go. They are going to cause an accident.

Almost got into an accident TWICE thanks to the new white traffic pylons you put up blocking off 3rd Street where it becomes a one way on campus. I've had two cars pull out in front of me off of Mitchell street because it used to be a lane they could pull out onto but now it's blocked off for seemingly no reason whatsoever. Really unacceptable.

I would appreciate having someone who is in authority to come out to view traffic on East Third Street. But it shouldn't be the idiot who decided to turn Third Street into a 2-lane road. As traffic is moving east, we first have a race between the two lanes to merge into one by the time they reach Clarizz Blvd. Then, folks who attempt to access Third Street from any road between Clarizz and Smith Road have to wait anywhere from 2 to 20 minutes just to get into the lane of traffic. God forbid if they are making a left-hand turn! This silly traffic pattern has completely destroyed the continuity and flow of traffic, all so you could put bike lanes in. Now, I must admit that since they were put in I have seen two bicycles in the bike lanes - one traveling east and one traveling west. Way to go, planning crew!
When can we expect the city to reverse this mistake??

The Southwest Branch of the library is currently inaccessible to people with mobility issues. The road and driveway are completely blocked off and a worker suggested I park at the middle school parking lot. This would have been a long walk across uneven, unsafe terrain to reach the library. This is unacceptable, and it's a violation of the Americans With Disabilities Act.
That whole project has been a mess for weeks, requiring people to drive through a one-lane roadway without a flagger or light (the portion near the library). The roadway has not been paved for weeks. It's being handled very poorly, but today's situation is illegal.
