The area by Governor Park Apartments and the mobile trailer court behind it reaching towards 5665 North Lenzy or from Harbison Road area. I cant locate an exact location but once a week around 11pm and 12am there is a strong trash burning smell/ Bonfire. So strong. Very strong. Very black smoke
Boxes of paper stored in ceiling between high tops and railing. Fire starts in ceiling sprinkler system cannot reach them. Items stored in various tiles throughout store.
Ceiling tiles above soda machine in kitchen are not only not a single tile piece but it is cut/altered and pieced together. Numerous ceiling leaks and unrelated but they do not have a valid retail food establishment permit. Should not be open for business.
The store manger is open fire exits to smoke
Burning lumber products during construction project on 1/6/2026.
Rental home does not have working window creating a fire and Egress hazard which violates city and state requirements
Four hours of smoke now from someone who seems to burn leaves in Stiers Park (sort of a tiny gated community). The location is right near High Street and Viva. And has to be awful for people just east of the burn. Two houses to the north, we get a lot of smoke in our windows. Everything withing a quarter mile has a smoke smell. It may have been the same household last weekend. And in previous years. My understanding is that burning is not permitted in Bloomington (and most municipalities), except for pit fires. I wasn't sure whether to report it to the Fire Dept. or Police. It is a health hazard. It is also a nuisance. And though it seems to be tended, it's not the safest thing in the world.
Burning leaves smell.
Smells like gas leak by Hyatt and trail and intersection and wonderlab
