An area of new sod immediately adjacent to the sidewalk and between the sidewalk and street has collapsed (in some places to a depth of 9 inches) in such a way that it is unsafe for bicyclists or pedestrians who may veer off the sidewalk even very briefly. We believe this sod was laid after the ground was dug for installation of the fiber cable for Gigabit Now. We (University Baptist Church) are not certain of the best agency to contact about the problem, and we are hoping that you will either take care of it or direct us to the correct people to contact. Sidewalk blocked by fiber truck. Workers told me they did not have to put up signs and barricades and proceeded to yell at me

We just received an email at IU saying that we should be using the sidewalk on 10th st from the bypass to range rd in our kubota and other atv's. This seems completely wrong, and at odds with encouraging biking and walking in an already troubled area. Please advise if there is an official policy on this.
