As I was entering this in to the system, the resident called in four times cussing at me, calling my vulgar names, and threatening me before I even had a chance to explain the issue to him. Each time I advised the resident that I would not continue to speak with him unless he could refrain from cussing at me. The fourth time he called in I was able to also offer him to speak with my supervisor tomorrow when he comes in. The resident hung up at that time.
