Leroy (812) 679-7403 rents at 120 W Pinewood Dr. and concerned about excessive growth near the corner causing safety hazard for kids in the neighborhood with the amount of traffic. He said that the owner refuses to mow and he does what he can to maintain the area. Called 1-2 days ago to file complaint but unable to provide property address. tlr
Calling about recent case (see below). Problem persists. #188267 Excessive Growth Case Date: 5/5/2024 The owner of (corner house) 1706 E Second Street only mows half his lawn. The half that borders 607 S Eastside Drive has not been kept up. If he keeps doing this, the grass will be knee high by August.

Citizen called about tree across the street from her residence. Tree is enormous by her standards and a potential hazard for a single family rental adjacent to tree. By her summation the tree is a "when it falls" as opposed to an "if it falls." Can we, should we do anything?
Homeowner at 1251 W Countryside Ln contacted CBU Eng Dept on 5/9/19 @ 1:35pm regarding a drainage concern. Drainage ditch running between his home and the neighboring home to the West is holding water. He is concerned for public safety with mosquitos and such since the water is holding for long periods of time. He would like an Engineer to contact him and meet him on site to see what can be done to correct the problem. Tonia advised the homeowner that the Engineer was not back in the office until 5/13/19. He stated that he understood and that he did not have any immediate concerns about waiting until next week.
Complaining about 3 inches of mud in front of his apartment. He's following up from a prior complaint about this location, when he claims that he was told that an environmental study would need to be done before it could be cleaned up, but that it wasn't a priority.
