Lax safety standards: The pool is full of people but the lifeguards are all chatting on one bench.

Someone hacked all of these trees and limbed them up a ridiculous amount. Feels sooo barren now. Why would the city endorse this level of cutback on large sycamore trees? The canopy is going to be so high above a pedestrian that there is no feeling at all left of being in a wooded street scape. Very disappointing after all this work and money spent.
2 abandoned vehicle in front of 530 s Washington st Looks like he is using the City street parking as a kitchen and patio, and storage.
There is “aryan brotherhood” spray painted in white at the corner of Runkle.
Acuff is closed but there are not any signage on prow rd to inform the public that is is closed until you get to it.
You guys extended these sidewalk areas and planted grass which needs to be cut.
When underground utility work was being performed, there was some exposed wire left behind in the yard. Requesting that the remaining exposed wire be buried or removed.
These hand rails stick into the public sidewalk - a pedestrian not paying attention could run into these or a bicyclist could really have a collision with these. In at least two places. And they have put reflective tape on them which seems to indicate past problems.
Tenants say the truck has been abandoned for 3+ yrs
I work in Luddy Hall on the IU Campus. I have an ADA sticker for my car. The only ADA parking close to the southside of the building in on the west side of Myles Brank Hall behind Luddy. The City of Bloomington has timed parking along the south side of Luddy on Cottage Grove. It would benefit me to have at least one or preferably two of those parking spaces issued for drivers with a disabled license. This building has no parking on the other three sides. I'm 71 years old with major health issues and we have elderly and/or disabled family members come to Luddy also, especially in inclement weather when there is more possibility of falls. Thank you for your consideration. You are welcome to contact our ADA representative at IU, Frank Epperson at [email protected] He is also aware of the situation.
