There is a growing pile of garbage behind and alongside the house at 501 S. Mitchell. This adjoins a walkway that links two parts of Hunter Ave and it’s just above a waterway that feeds into the Jordan River. As a neighbor I’m concerned about rats and other sanitary issues likely to ensue.

Neighbors are wondering what this metal black box is, zip-tied to the entrance of the Eastside Neighborhood (where Hunter turns into the walking path on Mitchell). Is this something the City has installed and, if so, what is it? If it is not City-sanctioned, can it be removed? It's a little creepy. Thank you on behalf of Eastside neighbors.

Water is slowly but continuosly leaking from the house at 501 South Mitchell across the Eastside neighborhood pocket park into the storm water runoff ditch.
The leak location is close to the house's sewer cleanout and so possibly a sewage leak.

This is an over-occupancy complaint. The house at 501 South Arbutus appears to be inhabited by more than three unrelated adults.
