I have not been able to park my car in the parking spot behind my house because the alley has still not been cleared, even though the case was reported as closed. Street parking is off limits as well due to snow blocking the spots. All of the stores are out of shovels, so there really is nothing I can do.
The alley between my house and the fire station has not been plowed, causing multiple cars getting stuck. I had to get my car towed yesterday and am unable to park there as of now. I was curious if this could be cleared.
My roommate and I experienced sewage water expelled from our shower drain at our rental property managed by Granite Student Living on Saturday 1/24/26 when we tried to plunge a toilet. We have had three plumbing companies come out to inspect the line leading out of the house, and the conclusion is that the clay piping has been damaged/collapsed, and there may be further blockages that need the use of a high pressure water jet. We have been told water can slowly flow out of the house, but trying to send solid waste out of the property could cause a repeat of the original incident. Our management has been reluctant to assist us, meaning we have not had reliable access to a toilet on our property because it is the only bathroom. Granite management also informed us that they were unable to help because it was the entire street sewer main that collapsed, but after asking this to city utility maintenance, I was told that was not the issue. I'd like for the outside line to be inspected so our management company will either fix the issue or help find us temporary housing so we have reliable access to a bathroom.
A car is parked on our street, which does not allow street parking, and is completely blocking our driveway so no cars can get out. It has been there for at least 10 hours now.
The roads are slick and icy. They also are unsafe to drive on and need to be plowed and salted.
Snow has not been plowed on this road at all
The street is still covered in snow and we are struggling to get out of the neighborhood despite trying to shovel.
The north end of North Clark St. past 8th St. has not been plowed. There are 10-12 houses here.
Snow primarily cleared from the neighborhood, but N Clark St from 8th to the north dead end has not been touched.
