Trash bins left on street (11th) and in view of public
Trash bins left on street (11th) and in view of public
Three (3) discarded sofas have been sitting by the street for weeks (11th Street side.)
Trash bin(s) sitting by street (Lincoln side)
Trash bin(s) sitting by street (correcting previous report - 11th Street side, not Lincoln.)
Trash bin(s) being stored on street - 11th Street side
Lights above the garage on 11th street are too bright and are aimed directly across the street directly into the houses there and they are blazingly bright all night long. Is this legal? They should point them down at least or put in much dimmer bulbs or shade them or something and stop being so inconsiderate. It's bad enough they keep spastic, maniacal, dangerous dogs tied up outside that bark for hours at a time. Now the lights are adding insult to injury.
See case #187163. Lights are still on all night long. Has the City actually issued a NOV and/or fine for this?
A tenant in this house regularly drives the wrong way on 11th Street. To get to the parking spot in back, the approach should be from Washington (from the west) but instead she takes what she has decided is a convenient shortcut from Lincoln. This has caused near collisions multiple times with pedestrians who are walking on 11th street (which for some reason has no sidewalks in this block). Each time, she flippantly squeals, "Oh, sorry!" as if she didn't know better, even though she has been given a talking to about this several times. It is clearly marked "One Way" towards the east. Can the police give someone a ticket for something they did not actually witness? What is the best approach when entitled undergraduates regularly violate traffic regulations because they are inconsiderate, selfish, and feel the rules don't apply to them? This is a Chickering rental.
Nearly identical to case #188757 involving previous tenant at this location, and generally to cases #193315, #193314, and #193039. New tenant has been observed driving west from Lincoln along 11th Street against the one-way direction to get to alley where parking spot is located. Car was a BMW SUV with Indiana (Elkhart County) license plate.
Case #193318 refers to 801 N. Lincoln.
