Maple tree on the 11th Street side of the east building is dying.
See case #188409. It has been a week since that report, though the garbage has been there longer. How long do they have before another citation and another fine? Garbage piled up on south side of the house along the alley. They have not all moved out for the summer - lights on at night - so there is someone around who could be setting out the trash.
A few of the capstones on the retaining wall out front are precariously hanging close to the edge as a result of long-term, hydrological processes. They look like they are about to fall, especially if someone happens to sit on the wall at that place. Owner of this property is the same as 322 E. 12th, the one with the dangerous sidewalk. He is an out-of-state, absentee landlord who doesn't care about the neighborhood or safety in general. If he is going to be required to fix the sidewalk on 12th, please also require him to attend to this retaining wall. One of the capstones has already fallen and broken. Someone just picked it up off the sidewalk and placed it back on top of the wall without mortar.
This is about two things. There are bush honeysuckles growing out that are about half-blocking the sidewalk. Just a matter of time before it's completely impossible to pass by. Also, trash bins and mattress are lying by the street in the grassy area, which is also blocking someone who wants/needs to walk that way.
Street lamp is purple. Seems like it's the last one left in the area that is purple. It's the one on the south side of 10th Street and east of Indiana Avenue but west of the alley between Indiana and Fess.
It is a light between 310N Dunn Street and 507 E 7th Street
Alley is no longer paved, has vegetation and grass growing through out the whole alley
Alley is in poor condition with multiple holes, and eroding.
Alley way is in poor condition.
