Multiple reports have been made about this, not all associated with the correct address. The problem is at 620 N. College. This is a Chickering rental. The problem has been caused by various vehicles (Indiana, Illinois, NJ), but all are at the same address - rich, entitled students renting from a rich, entitled rental company. Here are some examples: https://bloomington.in.gov/crm/tickets/view?ticket_id=208779 https://bloomington.in.gov/crm/tickets/view?ticket_id=208690 https://bloomington.in.gov/crm/tickets/view?ticket_id=207150 https://bloomington.in.gov/crm/tickets/view?ticket_id=208687 https://bloomington.in.gov/crm/tickets/view?ticket_id=207557 https://bloomington.in.gov/crm/tickets/view?ticket_id=208686 https://bloomington.in.gov/crm/tickets/view?ticket_id=208777 https://bloomington.in.gov/crm/tickets/view?ticket_id=207646
The street storm drain is completely covered. During the storm last night the street was completely flooded about 15-20 feet from the drain (south).
Basswood Dr. sign blew off, in grass on same side of rd as hotel.
Mayor Thomson has asked that we let our voices be heard about the Hopewell PUD. My voice says that the administration should not be rushing ordinances through that have not had the proper time to be reviewed. Is this a good proposal? Maybe! But follow the letter of the law. Mayor Thomson’s letter was tantamount to bullying council for following the law. We get enough of that at the federal level. Please do better in the future and think about tone and process more than looking good to campaign donors.
The address listed above is approximate. The location is behind (west) of the Convention Center and the Bline trail and east of Madison St. on the North side of Third Street. There large pile of trash is located next to the tree line.
Tree down across the road on north side of 6700 S Victor Pike between there and Tramway.
My understanding is that this establishment is not legally allowed to have a liquor license due to their proximity to a church. The HPC rejected their application to become an historic district, and they have no other avenues to legally sell alcohol I am aware of. Please let me know if I am mistaken, or if they are flagrantly violating the law.
3805 E Tamarron Dr. Tree branch down. Aprox. 4" in Dia. I was able to pull it over to the curb by the mailboxes.
