Erosion undercutting sidewalk. Half way between Fenbrook Ct. and S. Baldwin Dr. on the north side of Fields Dr (aka Fenbrook Ln) near the retention pond the sidewalk is undercut and will eventually break. The erosion is on the north edge of the sidewalk.

This parking area does now go through to Oolitic Dr. And tell your web designers that it would be nice if this page could be arranged so that a scroll bar is not needed. Even on trails where there is no room for social distancing, maybe half the people there wear no masks--and no surprise, because the city has not posted a sign at the park to say to do so. I've reported this by phone to no avail. Does the city even care if people wear masks? Why is so little done to encourage it? Why do so many city workers work close to each other, often close to people out walking, without masks?
I am deeply saddened that our City would remove the encampment in Seminary Square. Does every park have to be for the primary enjoyment of those who HAVE homes? Can't the homeless at least have primary use of THIS one? Are people so small-minded that they begrudge this just because they then aren't comfortable using it themselves? I walk by it all the time, and sure, it isn't as pretty as it could otherwise be, but how about considerations of justice? Let them enjoy the space! I know there may be more clean-up needed for city workers, but that is a cost we should be able to bear. Let's make it safer as needed by installing port-a-potties or whatever is needed. Bloomington supposedly cares so much about the housing problem that they are prepared to ruin historic neighborhoods (though I suspect this is mainly at the behest of developers), yet they won't allow homeless people to live in tents in Seminary Square??
On the Bloomington Rail Trail where it crosses S Rogers St (at the horse farm) there are two sections of native trees planted by City Parks Dept and they are outgrowing their support wires (the supports put in upon planting). They all look great and have been successful but some are so big that the trunks have the wires growing right into the bark. Someone needs to cut the wires away and remove the support stakes in both sections. Thanks!

The left turn arrow for westbound Winslow Rd at South Walnut cycles green every time when there are no cars turning left. Don't believe the loops were reactivated after construction this summer.
