Hello, I am currently trying to sell my house at 1221 W. 6th Street. Potential buyer feedback has been overwhelmingly positive however several people have decided not to buy my house because of the condition of the neighboring property to the east. That particular house is abandoned and derelict. Are you able to take any action that would remedy this plight or if this is simply a civil matter please let me know what steps I should take to address the problem myself. Hello, Yesterday I wrote in to tell you that I am having difficulty selling my house at 1221 W. 6th street because the neighboring house to the east is abandoned and derelict. The near west side is a nice burgeoning neighborhood that is suffering due to the negligent care of this property. I did not mention that it is also filled with pests (namely rats) but also the backyard is overgrown with bamboo. It is a haven for Racoons and other critters. Resident called to complain about a large, dead maple tree that is consistently falling/dropping limbs into the street.
Tall weeds along W. 4th Street near Vectren's property .
Grass & weeds over 18" tall in places. The city continues to ignore this property's non-compliance since Mr. Gul strong armed Linda Thompson in front of reporters. The city spent thousands of dollars fighting this in court. Enforce the code.

My neighbor at 1305 W 6th moved in last July and has not cut his grass since that time. It is long and very overgrown.

at least three houses on corner of Larkspur Lane and Woodhill are not mowing their grass and it is very long, and two houses on corner have had tree branches stacked in 6 ft tall piles left for 4-5 days now on the sidewalk/side of road
