3-4 large dogs in fenced in back yard. Dog waste accumulates and smells so bad that the neighbors can't sit outside. Complainants say they have called animal control several times. HAND has also referred 3 previous complaints to animal control with no response. JIM: Please let me know if this is something we can address (or need to, based on investigating the complaint) through BMC & Animal control or if it has to become a civil matter between the neighbors. Calling on behalf of Fairview School PTO. They are concerned about traffic on the block of N Fairview between 7th & 8th, especially right before & after school. With parents dropping off & picking up, parking, pulling in & out, etc it is hazardous for the children. Wants to know if that block of Fairview could be made one-way - or if there are other possible solutions. FYI - she is married to HT reporter Steve Hinnefeld.

The sewer in the alley behind 304 N. Bryan St. was dug up by private contractor. After the work was completed, the hole was improperly filled in, which has caused a sink hole.
