I just read the article where you're using a coconut powder treatment in the water. My wife is highly allergic to coconut. What are we supposed to do!? Whose stupid idea was this? Is there a way for us to filter this out? I mean we've ended up in the hospital before because she consumed coconut oil in food that we didn't know was in there. This is serious for us. Please stop this process. Help!

I just read an article stating that you are putting coconut powder in the water in Bloomington. I am SUPER allergic to coconut and I know others that are as well. I'd love NOT to have allergy attack just drinking water! I strongly think this should be changed! Please don't affect my health and others.

I visit friends in Bloomington and I'm allergic to coconut! Why would you introduce an allergen to the water. Now I have to pack in all the water I'm going to use during a visit. Terrible decision.

Is there any chance people with coconut allergies will be affected with the coconut powder added to the water treatment?

If I am allergic to coconut, will this powder you are adding to the water affect my allergy?

I’ve a question/concern about the coconut ingredient in the treatment mentioned in this article: https://fox59.com/indiana-news/bloomington-adds-cocunut-powder-to-drinking-water-after-taste-odor-complaints/.
My sister is severely allergic to tree nuts, which includes coconut. She will be visiting during the holidays and I’m concerned about her using our water while here. Is there information you can provide about how much is in the water? Should we be safe and use bottled water?
Thank you for your time and any information you can provide.

Tap water is consistently turning a yellow/green color after adding chlorine or bleach to it. It turns opaque and cloudy. This has never happened before. I've been calling the utilities line daily and they keep insisting the water chemistry has not changed, despite getting multiple reports of this occurring across the city.

I turned on the tap water in my kitchen Sunday 7/6/25 and the water that came out was brown-the color of iced tea. I dumped the glass and refilled. The water then appeared clear and I haven’t noticed other problems but reporting so you have a record.

Just like other people have reported, our water is brown/green. I want to make sure it's safe.
