I don't know if this is a city, IU, or even state issue, but the storm sewer just north of the entrance to the IU Outdoor Pool on Fee Lane is completely clogged. This creates a pool of standing water that covers the east sidewalk and part of the road. It's a possible breading ground for mosquitos. It also forces pedestrians to walk on the road since the west sidewalk is closed due to construction.

The stoplight at Old 37 North and North Walnut/Business 37 is not working correctly this week. Cars heading south on Old 37 and coming to that stoplight are not triggering the light to change to green. It stays green for the North Walnut/Business 37 traffic...I have sat there in a row of cars for 10 minutes two days in a row. Today, an impatient driver in a big pickup zoomed out of the row of waiting cars up to the front of the line, presumably trying to trigger the light. Either the sensor isn't working or it is located beyond where the stop line is marked. This is going to cause an accident. Thank you!

What is the plan to address the lack of east/south thoroughfares in town? Have never lived anywhere where there are essentially zero two lane over 30 mps routes to cut through town. Causes neighborhood congestion, long commutes, more accidents and pollution, etc. We don't need many but we need SOMETHING! We're not THAT small of a city. Look at your peers. Thank you.

Hello I had a question regarding pedicabs/velocabs. 1st off are they allowed to operate in the city of Bloomington and are there any restrictions on them? Are there any pedicab companies that operate in Bloomington currently or have in the past? Thanks, Erik Smith

A fallen smallish tree is blocking the pedestrian/bike trail (Polly Grimshaw trail) just east of Pete Ellis Drive and parallel to the railroad track. See photo attached.

Not a big problem really and also I don't know which option to use for walking/biking trails so I am using the sidewalk one: a kroger shopping cart is sitting on the pedestrian/bike trail (Polly Grimshaw trail) just east of the bypass and way west of Pete Ellis Drive and parallel to the railroad track. Ms. Puri called to report her neighbor's yard waste. The neighbor's trees, which line Covenanter, had portions of them cut down by Duke last winter. Ms. Puri stated that the decaying tree limbs have been left in the yard. She is concerned the limbs constitute yard waste and that they will attract pests such as termites.
