I called last Sunday (the 9th) about (clay-colored) water coming up from under pavement and a roaring noise underneath in middle of 800 block of S. Park. Someone promptly came as I was driving out of town. I took this photo yesterday. Please let me know what more will be done. (I have learned that a stream flows under the street there.) Thanks!
Sediment is impeding/stopping flow of storm water runoff from our drive/parking lot into drainage swale. Storm water is backing up because of this into our drive/parking lot during rain events.
Storm drainage (and even some lighter rainstorms) has repeatedly been eroding and flooding our backyard and street. The recent storms have heightened our concern at the impact runoff water and debris is having on our home/yard, our neighbors yard, and the street below us. The elevation of our yard and street is lower than that of the woods behind us and the street above us (Georgetown Road). All of the water from these locations has eroded channels and pools in their yards, guiding the water into our yard. The water pools in our backyard, increasingly threatening our house. In addition to the large volume of water this forces on our yard and street, we are bombarded by leaves, large sticks, and other misc. debris. This debris clogs the sewer drains at the other end of our street and clutters the street. The amount of water runoff continues to increase on a daily rate and has started to erode dirt in both our and our neighbors front lawns, leading us to believe that increased drainage at the street above or our street are required. If not, alternate solutions and suggestions are requested. If city help is not possible, than approval for commercial drainage/directing of the water through our yard and into the street is requested for approval. Water leaking at high rate around the house located at 4413 Bill Mallory bd into the water storm drain
There is a water leak at approximately 734 N. Woodbridge Dr. It started on Sunday morning, and to my knowledge, no one has tried to fix it. Our apartment complex is aware of the issue, but the leak has continued to run for four days. So far, at least 5,000 gallons of water have been wasted.
After removing a significant amount of honeysuckle that had completely overgrown this stormwater easement on our property (4101 E. Morningside Dr), I discovered this severely damaged storm drainage pipe. Upon further investigation, it is clear that the land under our property has eroded away, and as far as 6-8 feet in the only thing holding our land up is our fence and the plant root systems. The street behind us experiences constant drainage issues, and the damage to my property is significant.
Rain wayer not draining. Help!!!!!
There is a continuous large puddle that exists on City property (east side of Lincoln just north of 12th Street). This area needs to be filled/regraded ASAP.
Two things. first problem the drain to the storm sewer is covered by pieces of asphalt that have come off of the road and rain down here so very little drainage is happening. Second problem where are you tried to grow grass for me has again started to wash away dirt and grass seed gets washed away. What we really need is some sod. 409 North Sheffield Drive. the rain last night lifted three layers of asphalt and fluid Downstream to the dream last night. half the road is cracked and so I'm worried that with the next rain will lose another five feet from the curb. Please send someone out to investigate. This may be a duplicate because the last one I submitted had problems submitting and I haven't seen it in my my reports.
