This is a continuation of #185394, which was never resolved - because their is still a significant amount of construction debris in the bicycle lane. That ticket and this ticket have the same address at the top.
There are sudden piles of gravel in the bike lane and debris in the drains. This is very dangerous for bike users
Dangerous biking behaviors on walking/biking trail between Olcott Park and Sherwood Oaks Park. Can signs be placed to instruct cyclists to 1. slow down for pedestrians 2. signal by bell or voice if passing from behind 3. be prepared to stop should it be necessary. A woman and her daughter came down the path at a high speed, did not announce their presence, and almost ran over our 5 year old granddaughter. Education concerning bicycling etiquette might help. Difficult to cross the road at the bus stop. Cars do not slow down. Needs public light for more visibility of the pedestrian.

After making a purchase (at 11:41:55am 1/10/25 according to the receipt) at World Foods Market I left and continued on foot to Kroger. Before reaching the corner with Walnut street I slipped and fell on the the sidewalk north of World Food Market's west parking lot, next to where they park their van. Some of their sidewalk is very well cleared, but the part north of the west parking lot is inadequately treated (and the sidewalk to the west of the west parking lot, as well).
East side sidewalk snow and ice packed. High traffic. Also the city piled snow and left 5 foot piles blocking the paths that people use to go from the fields to the neighborhood and then bus stops. Both paths that lead from pleasant view to Clarizz treacherous and difficult. A lot of people use those to reach public transit.
The pedestrian paths leading to the pedestrian tunnel under the 45-46 bypass are icy and hazardous. This is the case both westbound and eastbound. I saw another pedestrian fall on the eastbound approach. I was carrying a heavy load of groceries, and I consider myself lucky that I didn't fall. Bloomington, please do better by us.
