There is a rat stuck inside a trash can receptacle on the B line next to the the shade shelter between 4th and Kirkwood
At least a month ago, either the owners of, or the renters of 916 N. Monroe St. Bloomington, In. 47404 placed a dilapidated sofa near the curb of the Monroe St side of the house that sits at the SE intersection of Monroe St. and Orris. It has since become a magnet to the trash of inconsiderate passersby and has become an eyesore and possible health hazard. Please advise on what can be done about this. Thank You, Dale F. Jones
There is a nuisance light in a box attached to pole 814 6521 on Morton Street in the narrow greenway between the B-line and Morton, opposite the driveway to the all red house next to the Bloomington Center for Connection. It creates glare all over the neighborhood and directly into my house. It is not part of the street light system. I have photos on my phone but don't know how to attach them to this file. I believe it should come down. Thank you.
Greetings. Once again, I see little to no effort on behalf of the City of Bloomington in celebrating Pride, and more specifically assuring safety and inclusion of its significant LGBTQ population. At least at current, I see no mention on the CFRD or Mayor pages, and no of no sponsored events. There has been seldom to ever a time in recent years of such attack on this minority population, with safety feeling slim even at the university level, and now is the time for moral leadership. Please step forward and actually speak up on behalf of your residents.
The city installed two very tall, bright LED lamplights as part of a project at the intersection of Winding Brook and Rogers Road, and The Stands and Rogers Road. These two large lights greatly increased the illumination directly into my primary bedroom windows on the south and east sides of my home and have created an ongoing nuisance that is visible from my condo 365 nights per year. This is unacceptable. Please assess these lights and correct this issue with more directional lighting (away from my residence, and, if possible, please use something other than LED. Thank you!
