Standing water on E. Maxwell Lane in the area between 1010 and 1016 E. Maxwell Lane. Ever since the fiber optic in-ground box was installed Fall 2024(seen in the attached picture) standing water remains in the road for a week or more after a rain. Seems to have created a very low spot in the roadway. Cars tend to drive around the water and into the oncoming lane. Immediately after rain the area of standing water is large enough that east bound traffic frequently has to stop for oncoming westbound traffic, creating effectively an area of one lane traffic. Perhaps the area of the road could be built up enough so as to restore the grading to allow the water to runoff into the gravel/grass.

Guards and managers at Bryan park go head first down slides and run around horseplaying. Isn't this against employee policy? Same rules should apply to guards for their safety.

Dear uReport Team,
Over the last year, I have submitted uReports for cars that park right up to the intersection of Maxwell Lane and Eastside Drive. A Quick Look at the uReport category of Parking and its definitions of different scenarios does not include “cars parking to close to intersection “, so I’ve submitted uReports under the “Miscellaneous” category. By the time my report is read, it’s often too late for a Parking Enforcement Officer to be informed in a timely way and to take action.
Could uReports create a separate scenario under PARKING for the situation I’ve described so that the information reaches Parking Enforcement quicker?
Thanks, Diane Leirer

I would like to make known to you that I was a victim of racial profiling by one woman that works at the Bloomington Fire Department. This happened June 10 between 11:30 am to 12 noon at the Upper Cascades Lions Den shelter that she attended an event of Ivy Tech Community College. I was helping out and she asked me where I am from then I answered her I’m from Bloomington, then with an attitude asked me again where are you originally from? Me and my friend got caught off guard and answered her I’m from question.. Then she said that she was born and raised in New York then asked me why am I hear in Bloomington. It was so shocking to me that somebody approached me and my friend that way. Her name is Natalie and she was wearing a Bloomington Fire Department uniform. I hope this gets taken care off coz I’ve been serving I. This community for a long time and I have never experienced this in my life. I hope this will not fall on deaf ears. Thank you
