There is a skunk carcass on the sidewalk just south of 527 S. Washington St. (South of 2nd Street, on the East side of Washington St.) I walked there this morning around 10:00. The skunk had probably been killed on the street within the past 12 hours, and then something had dragged it onto the sidewalk. It would be good if someone could remove the carcass. There is a skunk odor over the neighborhood, and the carcass has been torn apart quite a bit. Thanks very much.

The neighboring house to mine, located at 1122 S. Rogers has been overgrown excessively all Spring and Summer, having not been mown at all this year. I am concerned not only about wildlife taking over but it is also evident that the house is vacant and will attract squatters. Thank you for your immediate attention to this matter. Can the crosswalks please be repainted at the intersection of N. Smith and Morningside/E. Morningside? It is a very busy intersection with lots of foot/bike/car traffic, and right now you can essentially not even see the crosswalks that were prior painted. Thank you for your attention to this safety issue.

Doesn't appear the grass is getting mowed alongside E. 3rd in front of the Jewish community center between the street and sidewalk. Can you please request this be mowed? Thank you. Also there is some smattering of trash around there and a bit further east.

1. Pothole 500 E Grimes Ln & 1000 S Henderson intersection on NE corner near walk lane. 2. Multiple potholes 1000 S Mitchell St & 1500 E Southdowns Dr. along seam of road where intersection was re-aligned years ago AND northward on Mitchell in seam of road towards Maxwell Ln. 3. Around corner of 1500 E Maxwell Ln & 900 S Mitchell St on the eastbound lane of Maxwell up the hill. 4. 1300 E Southdowns Dr & 1000 S Highland Ave both directions (east & west) in middle seam of Southdowns

This morning when I was driving to work, there were signs halfway blocking both sides of traffic at the light of S. Rockport Road and S. Rogers Road near Sunoco Gas Station. What is going on?? Please do not tell me this road is being closed off because for those of us who live back there, going down Countryside Lane and out onto Rockport to Rogers is the only way we can leave now that the four way stop at Rockport and Tapp are closed, as well as the Country Club Bridge. I contacted IU but they said this light belongs to the city. The light to let pedestrians cross at 10th and Fee Lane (going from Kelley School to the Arboretum) is not working. I stood out there in the rain for 5 minutes today, pressing the button several times, but it did not turn to the pedestrian light when it was supposed to. Instead, cars kept going so I walked all the way up the sidewalk to the library where there is a "yield" pedestrian crosswalk; not that anyone does. This is a busy cross intersection for pedestrians, especially with orientation going on.

Reports of unsightly weeds and trash at this property as well as trimmings and brush that have not been removed. The vegetation and debris detract from the overall tidiness of the neighborhood and may compromise public health by attracting unwanted pests.
