Excessive Growth
- Case Date:
- 7/11/2025
I reported Tall Grass/Weeds at 3521 & 3523 S. Burks Ct. 47401, about July 10, 2025. Case# 204132. When I checked on the case, (because mowing has not been done), it says the case is closed as of 7/18/2025. That was 4 days ago. How long do you give the tenants/owners to resolve this issue? Do I need to send another complaint? I've chosen to remain anonymous but you can contact me at frogheaven@hotmail.com. Thanks so much.
Is it correct that invasive species management and overgrowth is no longer going to be addressed by City Staff as per local ordinances/code/law?
Does this city code also apply to bus drivers? It's posted prominently all over the downtown Transit Center, and yet mutiple bus drivers enjoy their tobacco at the entrance to the parked buses while riders waiting to board are downwind of their smoke, unable to board. Does this mean anything, or does it only apply to riders?
It seems that many of the commissions are not allowed to have applicants or members that do not live in city limits. How is the ESD art commission headed/chaired by someone who does not live in city limits? If allowed, why is only this commission allowed to do so?
According to Beacon (formerly Elevate), the chair of Art Commission lives in County near W Church Ln and claims homestead there. Again, how can that be allowed for only this commission? There are many good applicants for other commissions who are denied because they are not claiming voter registration at alternate family member address in city limits.
