Blocked Street
410 S Highland AVE
- Case Date:
- 7/29/2025
Is this eyesore EVER going to be cleaned up? Constant traffic, rearranging various vehicles, boats, heavy equipment. Blocked alleys on both sides of the street. Lots of random sawing and different people moving trailers and trucks and cars. This has gone on for months and months and months. Does the city check on problem properties like this?
Thanks for your help.

I can hear water moving in the wall where the water enters the house from the meter/shutoff in my front yard. If I shut the water off inside the house where it enters, the sound stops. I have checked every place water is available in the house and outdoor spickets and there are no leaks or sound. I doubt it is related, but Saturday evening, July 26, our street lost power for 3 hours. Duke had a few large bucket trucks on our street around 10:45pm.Does the water department come here make sure there isn’t a leak inside the cover in the front yard?

I believe they are parking their car on the side of the road at the top of the hill. I have come so close to pulling into it off Allen Street.
They must work during the day then park it there after work. I think k it belongs to the hose right of the parked car on Allen Street.
