Follow-up on case #205921 Response: Caden Swanson commented on this case. CBU Eng investigated this on 9/26/2025 and found this to be from the storm system originating from the sloped area near the pool.  No action needed. Question: In the photo with thise new case # (the left half of the photo i sent with the original case) there is a access ("manhole") cover much closer to the central path. Is that a cover opening to a storm drain that somehow connects ground water with the white PCP pipe draining in to the Creek? Thanks in advance. Caden Swanson commented on this case. I live in a basement apartment at The Quarry apartments, and there is a recurring rat problem that has not been resolved by my property owner/management. Rats have been actively present in the window well outside my basement window. This is not the first time this issue has occurred — last year, rats managed to enter my apartment, and I had to purchase my own sticky pads to catch them. At that time, the property management was notified, but no permanent solution was put in place to prevent recurrence. This year, the problem has returned. I submitted a maintenance request several days ago, followed by multiple emails (including a formal escalation) and phone calls. Despite these efforts, the property management has failed to respond or take corrective action. The ongoing presence of rats poses a serious health and safety hazard and directly impacts the habitability of my apartment. Given that this is a repeated issue, and management has been unresponsive, I am requesting HAND to inspect the property and require the landlord to take immediate corrective action, including extermination and sealing of all potential entry points.

All of the street lights on Kirkwood and Dunn are out. This includes the large lights over the intersection. It is Friday night and someone will get hurt because the cars can't see them.
