The third street bike lane is completely unplowed. This is simply unacceptable treatment of a travel lane several days after snow stopped falling.
Pothole on south lane of 13th st at stop sign going east
The public sidewalk was never shoveled. This photo was taken at 2:30 PM on January 29, 2026. I verified on February 1 that the side was still unshoveled – SEVEN days after the end of the last snowstorm.
North kirkwood sidewalk adjacent to The Tap is not adequately shoveled. They only shoveled 36-42”, when the minimum is 54”. I shoveled the west College sidewalk adjacent to The Tap over the weekend since they only shoveled 20” there. I don’t want to do lore free work for them. I also understand employees at other businesses shoveled the sidewalks next to Social Cantina and Smokeworks since they wouldn’t do it themselves.
Snow and Ice on west side of Convenator and College Mall. West bound Convenator lane is totally blocked with snow. If the East bound left turn lane is occupied, you are unable to turn right from College Mall to Convenator. This is very hazardous.
The public sidewalk in front of Le Petit Café was never shoveled. Photo taken 2026 Jan 29 – 1:26 PM
Side walks not clean snow.
Third Street has one passable lane west of Woodcrest and it is causing traffic to back up
West crosswalk on 3Rd st (where Madison crosses) is covered in snow. Snow berms blocking where the sidewalk meets the crosswalk. Crosswalks are always a pain point when it snows. Is it the city's responsibility or business'/residents' responsibility to clear adjacent sidewalk intersections? I spent a few hours clearing crosswalks downtown yesterday and I am too exhausted to do this one today.
