There are a few streetlights in Bloomington that need to be fixed. I've had no luck getting Duke Energy to repair them. Since none of these specific streetlights appear on Duke's website maps, I contacted them directly about them. I got a Duke employee to respond a couple of months ago with a text that said, "we will fix them", but as of today they are still not fixed. Maybe the city of Bloomington can contact Duke about them and get them fixed? The streetlights are at the following locations: (1). 2nd St and S Adams St. The only light at this intersection. Very dark at this intersection without the light. (2) On 2nd St, near the intersection of S Patterson Dr. There are two of the green streetlamps that are out. Right next to each other. Directly in front of the store called "Hopes Dispensary". (3) At the intersection of 4th St. and S. Walnut. There are two streetlights at this intersection, but the one that is out is directly over the crosswalk on 4th St. Again, none of these streetlights appear on Duke's maps, and I'm having no luck getting Duke to fix them. Thank you.

The retaining walls on W 17th require cleaning and routine maintenance. The house shown is 1412 W 17th, but the walls run up and down the street. Mold is the major concern.

Gravel overflowing from tree plot into 7-line and sidewalk. This photo is at the parking lot for 215 N Washington St, but the problem exists along the whole block between walnut and washington. This is my 3rd report of this exact problem. Most recently, #205849. One of the property managers keeps adding more gravel even though it has been overflowing for several years already. The mythical street sweeping did not even remove the gravel already in the 7 line! It certainly cannot do anything about the continuin flow of gravel. Historical photos on google street view show that the properties on the eastern half of the block did not used to have loose gravel -- this is a new development and not grandfathered in. Regardless of what the original zoning mistake was, OVERFLOWING WAS NEVER AUTHORIZED. and: IF PLANNING CANNOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT THIS, ENGINEERING AND PW HAVE AN AFFIRMATIVE DUTY TO MAINTAIN A SAFE ROW REGARDLESS OF THE FAILURES OF P&T. thanks!

Two drains on city street- E Windermere Woods Dr which parallels College Mall Road -are filled to the rim which means there is dangerous water buildup in the traffic lane. The two drains are not directly in front of condos. They are on Windermere Woods Dr a few feet from the junction with Covenanter near College Mall Road. There also is a green space between Windermere Woods Dr and College Mall Road which now looks like a lake. There also is city owns the land but we mow and maintain the trees. There is a huge drain near the corner of College Mall Road and Covenanter which also is backed up creating the lake.

Hello! Still waiting for the culvert clean-out on Davis Street between South Washington and Lincoln. It's filling with silt and vegetation and trash, which makes it prone to flooding. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

Resident, working as a rideshare driver, reports observing traffic at the intersection of E 17th St. and N Eagleson Ave. for approximately 20 minutes. During this time several pedestrian near-misses were observed. Resident believes that Rush Week has created a situation where IU students are frequently crossing the road while distracted with their smartphones (i.e., participating in Rush-related activities). Consequently, students are using sidewalks according to existing paint markings on the road. Although 2 crosswalk curb ramps have been removed recently, paint for those crosswalks is still on the road. The paint is also impeded by mud in parts, which can be difficult for drivers to see. Students are prompting traffic to stop at 4 separate locations along E 17th St. at irregular intervals. Resident is requesting removal of old sidewalk markings and/or posting of a crosswalk closure sign.
