For years, the local government has done very little to celebrate Pride despite the large queer population of residents. Please tell me some sort of celebration or partnership is planned for this June? Thank you!
I wish the Mayor spent as much time pushing for affordable housing development outside City Limits in the County as she recently has been doing for the jail.

A tree branch has broken part-way off of a tree at the corner of Third and Jackson. We were able to move it so it is only blocking the sidewalk and not W 3rd Street, but it should be removed, since it is still connected to the tree. If we have a lot of wind, it may swing back to blocking the street. Thank you.
The Mayor needs to meet with adjacent neighbors to North Park to discuss the impact the failed site will have to their neighborhoods in turning a rural residential space into the opposite.
Thank you to Mayor Thompson for your most recent voicing that North Park is not where the jail should be situated and that you will activate municipal resources and approvals to expedite more suitable placement. Cheers for recognizing when an about face is needed.
