Due to near wrecks from cars drifing into other lanes, would like lane markings painted in two areas: 1) The portion of Henderson which crosses Atwater and extends to Third Street, and 2) the left turn lane after the light at Third & Dunn, which feeds into the above section.

Wiring in Cascades South shelter is substandard. The wiring has been torn out by vandals and bare live wires exposed. Feels apparently the city can get around passing inspection -- he also contacted BPD.
Potholes, Other Street Repair

Mr. Lord expressed concern about the "man-made" potholes around the city. He realizes that he does not live in the city, but still spends money here and is tired of running into these potholes. He wanted to suggest manhole "spacers", the piece of equipment between the manhole cover and the pavement. Call made at approx. 2:00 p.m., August 20, 1997. NO ADDRESS ENTERED AT TOP BECAUSE IT IS A CITYWIDE PROBLEM.

Writer wants to know why the 75-100 years old osage-orange tree that was in Ninth St Park was cut down. This was a beautiful tree, showed no signs of illness, and was one of the largest of its species left in the county. (see e-mail).
