The entrance from W Gordon Pike on to S. Wicken was recently replaced, S Wickens Rd. and curb outlining the newly paved portion connecting the two roads was left at higher elevation. Cars are having to slow down once they turn as this is wearing on tires and vehicles it is a concern. The entry seems worse than before it was dug up and repaved. It is much like the "bump" that was repaired recently on Rockport due to the transition not being leveled over making the roadway smooth.
Home on South Wexley Rd has a split tree from the storm from Monday 4/27. Residents have NOT mowed lawn in a month, nor takin care of the fallen tree, limbs are about to fall on pedestrians. Tree has damaged a car below- windshield is crushed/hood dented/roof dented. Weeds/grass is 12” plus. Chairs are overturned in yard. We are concerned the tree is going to hurt someone if not dealt with soon. Maybe the neighbors need a welfare check? Concerned they are not well if they are not dealing with the car and tree.
Had an individual call the Mayors office the past two days concerned about the excessive growth located near Westplex and 3rd South, west corner. Wanted me to reopen his prior uReport with the number 189088, but am not able to so I am filing a new one. He said that he has also seen homeless individuals in this area.
At the bus stop on W 3rd St and S Westplex Ave there are homeless individuals who camp out at the bus stops; they have mattresses, trash, and needles around them. This situation makes it unsafe for other individuals trying to ride the bus as well as causing a disturbance to the neighboring businesses. I've contact the transportation department and filed a uReport but nothing changed.
People living in cars that are in front on Wheeler Mission. Can’t walk on sidewalk. People sleeping and camping there.
Reported this last week. Issue shown as closed. Checked this morning. Not closed.
There is a homeless camp. I'm behind wheeler that goes up behind almost to the gas station up on 3rd. Several individuals camping back there. It's the same camp that was taken down last year is being rebuilt. Individuals are disturbing the peaceful enjoyment of the residents of the area. They harass the residents. Also having a lot of issues with petty theft in the area because of them.
Several large potholes located between Wheeler Mission and Westples Woods apartments.
