Over the holiday weekend, we had yet another water main break in Hyde Park Village. Happy to report that CBU was quick on the scene fix the problem and mostly cleaned up the mess. I would like to speak with someone regarding the issues as this was our second water main break in two weeks. I am the president of Hyde Park Village homeowners association. Recently installed lighting fixture on the south side of this house is unshielded with the lighting element completely visible and unshielded, causing glare and light trespass on neighboring property. This light has been on for over 48 hours now, and after dark is disruptive. This violates city code.
The bug maple city tree in front of our house on S Washington (near the corner of Dodds) has a carpenter ant infestation at the base of the trunk. If treated immediately I think the tree can still be saved. Will the city do this? If not, may I do so? We don’t want to lose this beautiful tree.

Our neighbor at 3830 S Woods Edge Bnd continues to let their dog get loose and in the last day we have now seen it attack a couple walking Saturday and now an elderly man and his dog. For 6 months we have repeatedly coaxed the dog back towards its fencing and the owner has acknowledged the dog being out but hasn’t addressed issue.

There is a section of sidewalk completely gone and is gravel. I've noticed it for years. It is unsafe for runners and cyclists. In addition, the entire stretch of sidewalk in between Washington and Walnut on the NORTH side (by the car repair place) is in need of replacement. I use this stretch to get to the Bline all the time, and with little cyclists, and as a runner, this cracked sidewalk is dangerous. Please replace!
I am requesting the lock removed and service restored like my electricity with a grant as I am police protected and so are my children daughter Judge Jordan Griffith Oceanic and son Garrett Kirby due to illness and Brain damage disease as part of our recovery...thank you
Multiple unshielded lights causing glare and trespass, left on around the clock. This is an ongoing problem, now there is an additional light. East and south side of the house causing light trespass Light trespass Glare. All lighting fixtures shall be installed so as not to cause glare at or beyond the property line and shall not be aimed toward traffic. Shielding Light Trespass. All lighting fixtures shall be installed so that light trespass from any property line, except a property line abutting a public street, shall not exceed two footcandles at a point one meter beyond the property line.
