Well, students are back and bike lanes are blocked! Washington between 4th and 3rd St 3/18/24 6:12pm IL plate: DV 82149 thanks!
a lot of broken glass in bike path tunnel
Bike lanes. Got some eletric other power bikes going way to fast in bike lanes. is this ok
Hello! It's been a few weeks with no cars blocking the bike lane on my commute! Which has been awesome. Not sure if you all have actually tried to do something about it, or if it's just coincidence, but it's been nice. However, there was a car blocking the bike lane on Washington between 4th and 3rd St's tonight 2/8/24 at 6:07pm MI plate: DF 04369 Thanks!
In the bike lane on the east side of Kingston near the old Marsh store, there is a large piece of what looks like fiberglass insulation over the storm grate blocking both the grate and the bike lane. Thanks for checking on it!
The sidewalks on Sare Road between Spicewood (as of the morning of 6/4/24) and the roundabout on Winslow have brush that is overgrown to the point that is narrows the sidewalk down so much that only 1 person can walk through. There are also thorn bushes that will scratch you if you meet someone at the same time either walking, running or biking. The sidewalk is also overgrown from the roundabout at the top of the hill on Winslow down to the roundabout at the Jackson Creek trail and then up High Street. These sidewalks are used a lot but the efficiency is greatly diminished since much of it is interrupted by brush. I'm not sure if this is the city's or the property owner's responsibility but it would be great if this could be addressed. Thank you.
Light #140 on B-line flashing
People are confused with current Greenway project. Eliminate the stop signs. That is the whole point, to create a fluid prioritized bike/ped east-west pathway where folk don't have to constantly stop and yield to oncoming traffic.
The corner of Moores Pike and Claris currently has flashing Yellow lights to help pedestrians cross Moores Pike. Drivers view yellow lights as a call to speed up not Stop. I walk there frequently but cars seldom slow or stop Sometimes the cars speed up, either to beat the light or to run over me. Perhaps it would help to change the lights to red which means Stop. Or install a regular stop light. Also, at the Southeast corner of Hillside Dr and College Mall Rd. The crossing light turns on when the vehicles turn right from Sare Rd onto Hillside Dr. This is very dangerous for the pedestrian since the corner is not visible to the cars turning right. Thank you Carol Reimers A concerned pedestrian
