The Republican-controlled Indiana legislature voted to overturn Gov. Eric Holcomb’s veto and enact a bill barring boys from participating in girls’ sports. Its about time they put a stop to this . Finally our elected officials grew some balls and back bone. I can't wait to see the city or county be forced to bow and show some support

there's a dam in the creek along the back of Then Fields apartments built to feed their fish ponds. It's in a very bad state of disrepair and could fail any day. It's just upstream of a bridge on E.moores that is also in a bad state, if the dam were to fail it could cause the bridge to fail too. Not to mention damage to properties along the same creek, and ecological damage as the ponds would drain. See attached map.

In the first three months of 2022, we had a number of workers (it seems from various companies) over about 2 months showing up to put up a new power pole in our backyard. We did not request this. One group, when asked said that someone would be back to take down the old pole which was marked with 2 large Xs in white paint (an eyesore). No one every came. At one point, one crew took down part of our back fence and ran equipment over the property line killing our ground cover and grass and killing a rhodendrum bush. I called Duke Energy weeks ago to inquire, but they never got back to me.

National Train a Teacher Day is June 18th, 2022 , in the wake of the rash of school shootings it is apparent the need to petition and instruct city or county officials in regard to the duty to regulation of Miltia for the general common defense of the constitutional represented republic. Our Government is obligated & needs to demand the state team up with retraining Indiana Army National Guard etal and deploy them in our schools along with support from a in house JROTC Armed & trained dogs in schools and every teacher should be armed. This past weekend my car was towed by Chandler Towing at 4am Sunday morning. I was staying the night at my partner’s apartment at 406 e 11th st. which is leased by Parker management. I was given verbal consent to park my car there while visiting by an employee at their office when I helped her pick up her keys to the apartment on the 1st of August. Given that it was a holiday weekend and I have no other way to get to work I opted to but the bullet and go get my car before trying to file any complaints. I was charged the legal maximum of $160 dollars which I understand and did not choose to raise any questions at the Chandler office. Afterwards I emailed Parker to ask if they would be willing to either reach out to Chandler to get me a refund or reimburse my partner via deducting that cost from her rent balance next month. I was told that an employee would never tell me I can park here and that they cannot do anything. I understand that given the city ordinance put in place a couple years ago as well as state laws require that I am given 24 hours notice prior to being towed for abandoning my vehicle and the only exception is if there is an emergency OR I am preventing a business from performing as intended. The lot in which I parked has not once been close to full this year so far and I was not preventing other tenants from accessing parking spaces. My car was only there for 8 hours before being towed without notice. The affidavit written by the towing company did not provide any testimony as to what circumstances allowed them to tow my car without a notice. I was also told by the towing company that they do not file police reports when towing a car and I cannot find any legal precedent on this matter. If you have an answer as to whether that is legally required I would appreciate clarification on that matter. If there is a formal way for me to file a complaint on this issue please let me know. I would like to proceed as respectfully as possible while not allowing myself to be taken advantage of. Thank you!
